Nokia N900 and HTC Touch2 are high end phones, which are among the best in their respective categories. HTC Touch 2 is powered by the powerful Windows 6.5 Mobile operating system, whereas other one is powered by Maemo 5 operating system. Both of these mobile phones are targeted towards business users; however they have some distinguish features between them.
HTC Touch2 has got a 2.8 inch touch screen having 65k colors and a resolution of 240 x 320 Pixels. This phone weighs only 110 grams and is very handy. The dimensions of HTC Touch2 are 104 x 55 x 12.9 mm. Whereas, Nokia N900 has got a 3.5 inch TFT touchscreen that offers 16 million colors and has a resolution of 480 x 800 Pixel. Nokia N900 is much heavier in weight than HTC Touch2 and it weighs 181 grams, with dimensions being 110.9 x 59.8 x 18 mm.
The Touch-sensitive zoom bar and TouchFLO finger swipe navigation makes HTC Touch2 all powerful and easy to operate. On the other hand, Nokia N900 has got a QWERTY keyboard having accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and proximity sensor for automatic turn off. Both of these gadgets have got almost similar connectivity options like GPRS 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth A2DP, HSCSD, Wi-Fi, and EDGE connectivity thereby, allowing the user to exchange data at a faster speed. The difference however lies in the ports of the phones. N900 has HSUPA, microUSB and Infrared port, whereas Touch2 has only miniUSB port.
Since these phones are targeted towards businessmen, thus both of them have got business features like Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Excel, PDF viewer etc. To assists you in navigation both of these phones have got navigational features. While GPS is common in both the phones, Nokia N900 makes use of Digital Compass and Ovi Maps. There is a huge difference in camera of HTC Touch 2 and Nokia N900. The former has got a 3.2 MP camera, whereas latter has got powerful camera of 5MP. In terms of memory, both of these mobiles are powered by 256 RAM. For internet browsing, Touch2 has got HTML browser only. However, Nokia make use of Maemo, HTML, and WAP 2.0 XHTM for surfing.
